عمران خان کے کرونا ٹیسٹ کی رپورٹ نیگیٹو آ گئ تفصیلات کے مطابق وزیراعظم سے چند روقبل ملاقات کرنے والے فیصل ایدھی کا کورونا ٹیسٹ مثبت آنے پر عمران خان کا احتیاطی طور پر کورونا ٹیسٹ کا فیصلہ کیا گیا۔وزیراعظم عمران خان کے فوکل پرسن برائے کرونا وائرس ڈاکٹر فیصل کا کہنا تھا کہ کچھ روز قبل فیصل ایدھی نے وزیراعظم عمران خان سے ملاقات کی تھی، بطور ذمہ دار شہری وزیراعظم عمران خان نے اپنا کرونا ٹیسٹ کرانے پر رضامندی ظاہر کی۔ ذرائع کے مطابق کہ شوکت خانم ہسپتال کے ماہرین پر مشتمل ٹیم نے وزیراعظم عمران خان کا کورونا ٹیسٹ کے لیے سیمپل حاصل کر لیے تھے اور لیبارٹری میں تجزیے کے بعد رپورٹ تیار کی۔

#BREAKING : Faisal Edhi, the #Head of one of Pakistan's Largest charity groups, the Edhi Foundation, has tested positive for coronavirus, Geo News Reported. According to Geo News,  Edhi is in Islamabad at the moment and had Insisted on being tested since he had been on the ground working with patients. His family will also undergo test for the virus as well. Edhi had traveled to Lahore and then to Islamabad, where he met Prime Minister Imran Khan and Donated a Rs.10 million check on behalf of his organisation. His family told Geo News, he had insisted on a test whose result came back today as positive.

In his latest national address on pandemic situation in the country, PM Imran Khan congratulated the nation over the fact that the virus numbers in Pakistan were still far behind than those projected earlier thanks to timely measures. He said that the govt moved early when there were only a handful of virus patients in the country. “Our previous projections said that the country’s virus tally would reach 50,000 by April 25,” he said. “Thankfully, those projections have been pushed to mid-May and our estimate for April 25 is a total of 12,000 to 15,000 virus cases,” he added. But, the PM warned that the last two weeks of May could be really tough where the country is projected to see a sharp spike of cases. The United Kingdom has announced a £2.67 million package to help Pakistan combat the Covid-19 pandemic. According to an official statement, the package will help people in 27 districts across all provinces of Pakistan. The funds will help "build stronger systems to detect and test for Covid-19, and support communities to have the right information to protect themselves and others." The British High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr Christian Turner assured that the "UK stands shoulder-to-shoulder with our friends in Pakistan at this difficult time."
